June 2008 Part II

So I thought I would add these few pics of Avery in her new pool. Aunt Leslie and Uncle John came over for dinner and we decided Avery need a little pool. So luckily for Avery Toys R Us is only seconds from our house. Aunt Leslie bought her this really cute pool, a sprinkler and chalk. She is so spoiled.

When you tell her to swim she lays on her belly and kicks her feet. We have been practicing in the tub.

Loves to splash, especially when the dog is near.

Talking away as usual.

Trying to go down the slide. But not so easy when your legs are so long they touch the floor even when you are sitting on top of the slide.

Did I mention she loves to smell flowers. Every single flower fake, real or a picture of one she will smell it. Of course this has a sprinkler that comes out of it. I was a nice mommy and didn't turn it on. But it was very tempting!

Tank getting a sip.

Avery feels if Tank thinks it tastes good she would give a try too!

She likes to act like the dog. She will crawl on the floor and sometimes bark.

JUNE 2008

AHH Summer is here and I am proud to say Avery actually likes the pool this year. It has been a rough month. Avery ended up with Roseola, which was a very long week for anyone that had to spend time with her. She does lots of funny things now. She loves spongebob squarepants and when she sees anything yellow she immediately screams out his name. She is a bit of a kisser. She loves to give out kisses (we are hoping this slows down by the time she reaches high school). She loves to dance, sing and read her books out loud(usually in the middle of church). And of course she loves to eat anything and everything. At her last appointment she weighed in at 27lbs. The rest of us are doing good. Ryan is well and I am getting too big (according to the drs). I was told I was just meant to have big babies. Great! I will keep you all updated the new baby is just around the corner.

Swimming in cousin Kelly's pool. Of course the water was 87 degrees and the air was 105. Who wouldn't be smiling.

So here it is the 8 month picture. I thought a new haircut would distract from the belly. I guess not.

She is just like her grandma and Aunt Margie. She loves to blow bubbles. Of course she tends to eat more of the soap then she should.

Aunt Margie showing her how to blow bubbles. It only took a few tries before she really got one to come out.

Drawing on Grandma's porch with chalk. It has become something of a favorite thing. Aunt Leslie even bought her a box of chalk just for home.

The sprinkler was fun except for the part when it gets her in the face. But what a great shot!

Her first corn on the cob. She ate that whole one by herself. She is so silly!

Ryan and "mini Ryan". She looks nothing like me. But like I said she loves to give out kisses.

Summertime can be exhausting!

Apparently humid weather and curly hair don't go well together. This is unfamiliar territory for me. So I bought alot of hair clips to hold that fuzz down. Hope it works.

May 2008

Time is flying by. Soon I will have a new baby to add to this blog. I am feeling really good and I am getting anxious to know whether Avery has a brother or sister to torture. Avery is doing good. She is running, talking and showing the world that everything has to be her way. She has a habit of calling people "bad dog" when she is mad at them. Oh well this adventure should be interesting.

I took out this chair to clean for baby #2 but baby #1 decided she still wants it.

Uncle Stan (aka The Godfatha") came to town for a short visit.

Showing her Uncle how a pro grills a hotdog!

Trying to help out in the yard.
Lets hope she is this helpful during her teen years.

Loving the warmer weather!

What a cheesy smile!

Took a trip to the park and saw horses. I think she was more impressed with the mounds the horses leave behind !

Relaxing and kicking her heels in the grass.
We don't have nice grass like this in our yard (maybe next year).

She has that up-to-no-good look again!
