November 2007

Avery had her 9 month check up. She is a healthy 24 lbs. We had a very busy month. Grandmom Booth came in from Colorado to visit (and spoil). Then Avery decided it was time for another tooth (#7). She is now crawling like a pro and pulling up on everything (poor dog!). It was her first Thanksgiving and she really had fun. The holiday was made for her, since she loves to eat.

Decided to give up on the walking and just crawl for now.

Doing patty-cake with her daddy.

Torturing the cat. At least the dog got a break for a minute.

She loves playing outside.

First Thanksgiving

Enjoying the pretty leaves. It was such a warm day.

Beating up her cousin Richie.

Stealing the dog food again!

October 2007

Well, it was a good month. Avery decided to try crawling. Unfortunately, she has no patience and prefers to go backwards. She had her first hayride and pumpkin patch trip, too. She really had a good time. It was her first Halloween and I decided it would be fitting for her to be a jar of peanut butter, since that is her nickname. My mom and I made the costume and she looked really cute.

Avery figures she can skip the crawling by trying to just stand up. Unforunately, this is where she gets stuck and eventually screams for mommy help.
Poppy and Avery.

Avery falling asleep but refusing to accept that the bottle is finished.

Since she only pushes herself backwards, she tends to get into tricky situations.
She is so silly sometimes.
Blowing bubbles at mommy.
Pumpkin Patch Time!!

Avery's First Halloween. She was so cute my lil Peanut Butter!!!

September 2007

Well, it was a good month. Avery decided having only 2 teeth wasn't good enough. So she went ahead and got 4 more, all on the top. She looks really cute. She figures why bother wasting time learning to crawl, it's more fun to practice standing and walking. Unfortunately, that means an adult has to bend over holding her hands all day. Mom is going to need a back massage soon. Enjoy the new pictures! By the way Avery does smile alot, unfortunately she decides to go stoneface the moment the camera comes out. I have to get sneaky to capture one. She is extremely stubborn, hmm I wonder where she gets that from!

This was labor day, showing off her new Broncos football t-shirt.
Mom knows how to make a helluva good snack.

If only I could walk, run and climb trees!

Avery is trying to convince Tank to give up his toy!

Talk is cheap. Avery decides to use force to get that toy.

That Scooby-Doo cracks me up!

At least she finds the dog hilarious.

She can't figure out how to stand up, but once she is up she doesn't want to get down.

She is counting the days, till she can run around in the yard with the dog. Unfortunately, so is the dog!

August 2007

Gotta look good for the first day at the beach.

Avery wasn't fond of the beach. She screamed bloody murder.

All that heat (and screaming) can wipe a girl out.

Another hot day on the beach. It didn't please her at all.

Avery hanging with her cousins.

Too bad we all can't take a sunday afternoon nap. Avery seems to take full advantage of the opportunity at Grandma's house.

July 2007

I guess girls of all ages find him sexy!

Avery's first fireworks. She wasn't scared and really didn't seemed that impressed. Boy, she is hard to please. I feel sorry for her future boyfriends!

Avery's first big tub bath. She really liked it.

She loves to eat!!

Avery and her daddy.

Avery and Mrs. Hanson.

I love this picture of Avery with Mr. Hanson (unfortunately, he passed away at the end of August)We will miss you!

Tank and Avery taking a nice nap. Although, by the looks of the neck hold I don't think Tank has much choice.

Avery and her Uncle Rich in the pool. Avery is not a waterbaby. She definitely doesn't take after her mom. Oh well, hopefully next year it will be better

Tank and Avery practicing their push ups together.

June 2007

Avery and Kenzie at Kenzie's kindergarten graduation. Grandma made this cute outfit for Avery. Unfortunately, the hat is a bit small.
Gotta love that face!
She is so silly!

Eating and playing can really wipe a girl out.
