Jake has a bit of a short temper but I find it funny how quickly he can whip up the tears when he is told "no". But then he can turn it off just as fast. Avery must have taught him that.

May 2009

Ahh...Thank goodness this month is over. It was very busy, fun...but busy. We had my niece Kenzie's communion party...then my parent's 50th wedding anniversary...then my cousin's wedding and finally Memorial Day weekend bbq. Lots of fun and lots of good food. A little update on the kids. Avery is still stubborn as always and too smart for her own good. She can recognize almost all her letters by sight; she can count to 1o and recognize and sing Jonas Brothers songs or as she calls them the "Jo Bros" thanks to her cousin Tori. Jake is growing at his 9 month appt he weighed in at 19lbs and has 6 teeth already. He says dogdog, dada, and mama (only when he wants something of course). He is still not crawling but is pulling up on everything and is cruising along all the furniture. I figure he will be walking very soon..but I am in no rush.
