We went to see Santa. Jake was always interested in him. But when he saw him in the flesh, well he was starstruck. Then screamed bloody murder when he sat on his lap. We figure Jake was excited then the reality that Santa will know what bad things he did started to creep in and he panicked.
We got a really big box full of presents from Grandparents in Colorado. Note to self don't to leave presents in a closet where the kids can reach them. Yes, we had to rewrap them.
He insisted on wearing this hat for a whole day even outside to play. He is a character!
We have a traditon of putting the lights on the tree xmas eve and we ask Santa to decorate the tree for us. So when they wake up it is all done. Santa was really tired on xmas morning :)
Of course Jake needs to put them right up his nose. Typical boy!

Feeling the need to make a personal call to Santa to thank him. Jake is so thoughtful. (and yes he did pull the chair up to do this on his own aka monkey boy)
On our way to Christmas dinner. Avery asked if balloons were going to be at Jesus' birthday party. She was a bit disappointed but the many many gifts from her aunts made up for it.
