February Part 1--- Birthday and Bubbles!

Not much happened in January so I figured we would just skip right to February. Avery turned 3 on Feb. 5th. She is extremely smart and it is a little scary. She loves to sing and makes up her own words. Of course Jake tries to do the same. Jake had his 18 month appt and all is well. He is at the 75%...weighing in at a healthy 28lbs and 33in tall. He is all boy with matching bruises. We call him the "clumsy monkey". We are currently taking bets on when his first ER visit will be...I figure by summer.

Yes, he asked me to put the dress on him. Check the next blog for the dancing video. Something I hope to use as blackmail during the teen years.

Here is the birthday girl...she was more excited about her traditional birthday cupcake then the big expense kitchen set. "I so excited mommy, I so happy!!!" If I knew a cupcake would do it...I would have bought a few more boxes and left the toys at the store.

Jake enjoyed the kitchen more than her. Well his future girlfriends are going to love a man that cooks.

Her birthday party was postponed due to snow (hazards of a winter birthday). She asked for a pink cake with lots of flowers. So that is exactly what she got. She was really happy about it.
I made it myself

Mommy, Daddy and the birthday girl

Who ate all the icing off the cupcakes?
...Avery was it you?

Bubbles Bubbles...only at grandma's house can we do bubbles in the living room

She loves bubbles too!

Jake loves the cowboy look. He only goes on the horse when he is properly attired. Of course he also like to stand on the horse (matching chin injury to go with it). Apparently he may have a future in the rodeo...got that from his father.

Waiting for his daddy...such a cutie
