Well, Jake is a big boy. In the beginning of the month for his 2 month check up he weighed in at 14lbs and 23 inches. If you are counting that is a 4lb gain in 6weeks. Oh boy I really should consider a large lock on the fridge when these two get older. I took Avery with us to the dr. appt and she cried the whole time, even though it wasn't for her. She was so desperate to get out of there she was trying to take Jake from me and carry his carseat out of the office. I guess she figured she was going to save her brother and run for it. At least she likes him enough to take him with her.So, Halloween came and Avery and Jake got some good candy. I should say Mommy and Daddy got some good candy (hehe). They were really cute as Dorothy and the lion from Wizard of Oz. I think she just liked her sparkle red shoes, which she has worn everyday since.
Clearly we are going to have to monitor her choice in clothing when she gets older. She loves things that sparkle and anything that could be used as shoes. Notice her choice of shoes are actually diaper refills. She looks like she should be doing some kind of tribal dance.
We were trying on our winter hats. I am sure these pictures will be great to use as blackmail when they get older.
Oh but doesn't he look so cute.
Nothing better than sitting on the couch with your brother eating waffles and watching cartoons.

HE is such a smiley and very talkative guy. He tries to talk above Avery. Ryan wants to get wall to wall carpeting. But he actually wants the carpet to be on the walls as to help absorb the noise that will be coming in the future.

She got herself stuck under the chair like a prison. I hope this isn't a sign of what is to come in her future.
Happy 1st halloween Jacob!

Taking a break on someone's steps. She was a bit confused about the whole trick or treat thing. She figured out that you went up to random strangers and got candy. But didn't understand the part where mommy comes along and takes it away.

She loves the scary stuff of Halloween. We went to a store one day and she cried when we left. The bloodier and creepier the better. This scary guy was puking. But she kept saying "juice". She is my horror queen.
Avery trying to calm her brother down. He wasn't exactly thrilled about his costume. I believe he was saying something under his breath about being dressed like a sissy.

Oh but he was such a cutie pie. I have to get these outfits in before he starts with his own ideas.
