February 2008

Avery is now a big 1 year old. At her last dr visit she weighed in at 23lbs. Which means she didn't gain anymore weight since her 9 month visit. I figure she is keeping the weight off by talking so much. She likes to point and argue with the dog. We believe her two favorite words are "stop" and "no". Well she does hear those words from me most often. We are proud to say she had decided to give walking a try. But she has a 3-4 step max. Anything past that amount and she would rather crawl. We realized she didn't like all the clapping and attention when she would walk, so we basically have to pretend like it is no big deal (but mommy is clapping inside!). As for her lil bro/sister, it is growing big and strong. I am doing my best and hopefully with all my praying this one will be born under the 8lb mark.

Avery with her new cousin Lucy.

Avery at her b-day party with her future boyfriend (she likes them young).

Both Tank and Avery have been waiting patiently for the rain to stop (or for it to turn into snow).

Avery's new nickname is "wallwalker". She will walk through the whole house just holding onto walls and furniture. So cautious!

Such a silly girl. Look at all those teeth!

Thought about shipping her to her grandparents when she is fresh, but it would cost too much.

If you don't know where she is check the doors and windows.

First real snow day!

"What a waste! All this snow and it doesn't even taste good!"

"Mommy, you're too slow. How about you just meet me outside."

Booth Family,I just laugh each time I read the latest. So funny that you have all just realized she doesn't like the extra attention and clapping when she walks! Maybe when you turn your backs.. she's really running, but has you all fooled!
She's a smart one!! Love to all! Kelli
