September 2008

September was an extremely busy month. We had picnics, visitors and oh yeah and two kids in diapers. We had Grandparents from Colorado come in to visit for a week. They got to see Jake for the first time and experience Avery's silly personality and big mouth. Avery is quite the talker and singer. She will sing all day and dance even when their is no music playing. She likes to sing into pretend microphones. She must be spending alot of time with her teen cousin Tori. We also call her the parrot because she will mimic what she hears. Which means mommy and daddy need to be alittle more careful these days. Jake is getting big and still loves to eat. He has his own silly personality already too.

At Aunt Margie's for a Labor Day Picnic. Of course we found a caterpillar. Unfortunately, for her mother she loves bugs. But luckily, she has a grandmother that is has a little more patiences.

In the pool with Tori. Her daddy was squirting her with water.

Trying to blow bubbles like Tori.

Jake the bobble head. He is really strong and determined to be running around like Avery soon.

Jake was crying and Avery decided to help out. She gave him her toy and a bottle. Usually, she just throws diapers at him when he crys. This is a step up. At least she is sharing.

He loves to smile. He has been smiling since the 2nd day. With Avery we had to pay her to smile. Not Jake he just loves to giggle too. So much that one day he laughed so hard out loud that he scared himself and cried.

Once again I left Avery alone for too long. I think I might need a kid leash for her.

Being silly with her Grandpa.

I love this picture. Such a handsome guy.

Jake loves his mommy.

Such a big boy already.

Aside from his silly side, he has an intellectual side too. This shows him contemplating his next novel.

Well, at least we will have one picture of her smiling with her brother. Just incase her attitude towards him changes in the future. Which I am sure it will.

Thank you for keeping this updated. What a great Mommy you are! Hows Daddy doing? Holding out okay? And he thought he was busy before! ha ha
This makes me feel a little closer although we are too far-in Texas! We love you all... XOX Kelli & Family
